The Bridge has a long history of promoting real ale. Ales are mostly sourced from local breweries, with an ever changing beer menu served by gravity directly from the cellar, using the same method of keeping ale as through all our generations. Ale is served in pints, half pints, and thirds.

This is just a selection of the many ales we serve. We particularly support small independent breweries.

Simple pub lunches of pasties, ploughman’s and sandwiches are available from noon-2pm.

Our ingredients are locally and sustainably sourced as far as is possible.

Every Tuesday from 5-8pm Ember
Pizza are at the inn.

Their pizzas present a true taste of traditional French Italian brought to you with a hint of Devonshire charm. They pride themselves in being able to know exactly what elements go into creating the dough and sauces for the perfect pizza, therefore, their pizzas are made following a classic Italian recipe for a delectably light, tasty and healthy crust. They truly are delicious!
